David Armstrong, General Manager
Defining and implementing strategic business solutions, David has served the medical community for more than 20 years. He founded American Medical Transport, Inc., a specialized medical courier service. On the heels of that successful venture, in 1991 David launched MedWorks, Inc., an onsite specimen collection company performing blood drawing and other specimen collection services for reference laboratories. Under his leadership as President, MedWorks grew to become the largest substance abuse testing worksite collection firm in the Midwest. When MedWorks was later acquired by HESc/Exemplar (now known as ClinNet), David assumed the position of Vice President of Substance Abuse Services where he was responsible for business development, client services, compliance, and worksite collection operations.
As Regional Director for the Upper Midwest, David enthusiastically partners with LMT clients to develop strategies that enhance patient care while also improving financial performance and operational efficiencies. David is 2010 HIPAA-Certified.
Actively involved in a number of community projects, David lives with his wife, 3 daughters, and son in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, where he serves on City Council.
